Transportation
and planning

Transportation planning involves the optimization of community resources applied to satisfy the needs of this sector of the economy. In particular, it is focused on the assignation of resources that sustain the investment in infrastructure and transport facilities, both urban and intercity, freight and passengers. They accompany the cities social life, primary and industrial production and domestic and international trade.

There are, in general, different ways to provide the highest required transport capacity or to improve operating conditions of existing systems. We seek to shorten users travel time, reduce transportation costs and increase the comfort and safety of movements.

Transportation planning has as its main objective focus the investment into efficient projects. The optimal time is chosen for the realization of the investment taking into account the best technique of the available alternatives. This is the focus of project development planning in AC&A.
